Gbajabiamila Allegedly Takes 300 Guests To Dubai For Mother’s Birthday On Public Funds

A fresh report has claimed that Speaker of Nigeria’s House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, sponsored 300 guests to Dubai for mother’s Birthday on public funds.

According to Sahara Reporters, who made the claim in an exclusive post titled ‘EXCLUSIVE: Speaker Of Nigeria’s House Of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, Takes 300 Guests To Dubai For Mother’s 90th Birthday On Public Funds,’ the speaker is in Dubai already to celebrate his mother’s 90th birthday, one which is said to run till the 10th of March.

The report claimed that the cost for hotel accommodation alone per night will amount to $36,600 (N13,176,000), for all the 300 guests.

Calculated for the eight nights that guests will be housed at the hotel, the total comes to $292,800 (N105,408,000). They also went on to state that almost 70 million Naira would be spent on flight alone for the guests.

A member of the planning team for the lavish celebration allegedly told SaharaReporters that Gbajabiamila could be spending well over N500m to ensure his mother gets a befitting 90th birthday celebration going by the calibre of guests that would be gracing the occasion.
