JUST IN: I’m Not Best Chairman, But I Mean Well — Oshiomhole

Adams Oshiomhole

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adams Oshiohmole displayed a dose of humility on Tuesday after admitting he may not be the ideal party chairman, but means well for the party.

Oshiohmole, stated this at the National Working Committee (NWC) meeting after he arrived the party for the first time in weeks following his suspension by an FCT high court and the subsequent take off of the party secretariat by policemen.

He however, challenged his suspension at the appeal court on Monday and got victory.

According to him, everyone had their style of leadership.

He said conflicts were the hallmark of democracy, noting that such crisis in the party was normal.

The national chairman of the party also added that the party will bounce back stronger and better.

He said God was never wrong as he had allowed the crisis happen so that party members could learn some lessons.

He called on every party supporter to search his / her conscience in order to rebuild the bond of friendship.

“We have shared moments of pain, moments of challenges, but God has seen us through. No matter what anybody wants to say, God has been merciful, God has been faithful. Our party has triumph, even against all prediction,” he said.

He further said the NWC was not divided and it won’t be divided.
