A viral video on the social media has shown the moment the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi requested that God infects him with the deadly coronavirus, so the entire world could be free from the disease.

While sitting on his throne, the traditional ruler said a prayer regarding coronavirus. He asked that the coronavirus should come to him and leave the rest of the world alone.

“I’m not king, God is King. You created everything. I surrender my body to the disease, let it abide in me and free the rest of the world” the controversial monarch had said.
