There Is “Enormous Evidence” That Coronavirus Came From Wuhan Lab — Mike Pompeo [VIDEO]
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said there’s “enormous evidence” to support the theory that the coronavirus originated in the Wuhan Institute of Virology, not a nearby wildlife market.
On Sunday, May 3, 2020 when Mike Pompeo appeared on ABC’s “This Week” where he declined to comment on whether the virus was released intentionally from the lab.
“I think the whole world can see now, remember, China has a history of infecting the world and running substandard laboratories,” Pompeo accused.
He further denounced China’s “classic Communist disinformation effort” to distort information on the spread of the virus in its early days.
As for escalating tensions between Washington and Beijing, after US President Donald Trump said China would be held “accountable,” Pompeo reiterated his message, vowing to “hold those responsible accountable.”
However, the Secretary of State agreed with a US intelligence community statement released Thursday that stipulated “the COVID-19 virus was not man-made or genetically modified.”
