IPOB Supreme Leader Nnamdi Kanu Unveils New Biafra Flag [Photo]

The self-exiled leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has unveiled a new re-designed flag for the proposed state of Biafra.

Kanu on Tuesday, August 18 took to his account on micro-blogging site, Twitter to sharer the new design with his followers asking for their opinion on the new development.

The newly re-designed flag shares similar look with the flag of the defunct Biafra Republic, but now it has an attachment of the popular Jewish “Star of David”.

According to the IPOB leader, the newest design comes with an acknowledgment of the group’s ERI heritage and tagged it “beautiful and thought provoking”.

Meanwhile, OrientalTimes reports that Kanu few weeks ago stated that the Biafra Republic he is agitating for will have its independence this year, 2020.
