Police ‘Attack’ #EndSARS Peaceful Protesters In Abuja

The police have dispersed peaceful protesters demanding disbandment of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) in Abuja on Friday.
A viral social media video showed how the protesters scampered to safety as the policemen shot tear gas canisters at them.
The protesters had taken to the street of Abuja to demonstrate against alleged harassment, extortion and brutality by SARS operatives.
The protest had kicked off on Thursday with Omoyele Sowere, the Convener of the #RevolutionNow leading the protesters to the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in Abuja.
