Nnamdi Kanu Trends On Twitter As Nigerians Say He’s Right That ‘Buhari Is Dead’

Nnamdi Kanu and Buhari

Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, is currently trending on micro-blogging site, Twitter.

Infuriated by the failure of President Muhammadu Buhari to address the nation two days after the slaughter of peaceful end SARS protesters at Lekki tollgate by uniformed men suspected to be officers of the Nigerian army, Nigerians have taken to Twitter to refer to Kanu’s submission that Buhari was dead.

Recall that Kanu had alleged in 2017 that President Buhari was dead, and was replaced by a body-double whom he named as Jubril al-Sudani, a man he claims was contracted by the late Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, from Sudan.

Oriental Times recalls that the IPOB leader during one of his broadcasts then on Radio Biafra stated that the President was buried in Saudi Arabia.

Also, a former member of Parliament for Falkirk and convicted child sex offender, Eric Joyce in 2017 also sent a condolence message via his verified Twitter page to Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, stating that he was “sad to learn of the death of President Buhari, whom I campaigned for”

However, Kanu and Joyce’s claims were dismissed as mere propaganda as the President has since appeared in several global functions.

Below are some tweets from Nigerians who think Kanu might be right in his claims that Nigeria’s President might truly be long dead.
