Nnamdi Kanu Begs Rivers LG Chairmen To Ignore Wike’s Order Against IPOB Members, Says He’s ‘Little Hitler’

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has described Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike as a ‘little Hitler’.

Kanu made this known on Wednesday in a statement obtained by Oriental Times.

Oriental Times recalls that Wike had ordered all Local Government chairmen and youth leaders in Rivers State to fish out IPOB members anywhere they are in the state for arrest and prosecution.

This is coming after the members of the group allegedly attacked police formations in Oyigbo and also according to the State government, killed some police officers.

In a swift reaction, Wike declared one Stanley Mgbere, said to be the IPOB ringleader who headed the attack wanted and equally placed a ₦50million bounty on him.

The Rivers State Governor also reinforced the ban on the proscription of the pro-Biafra group, reiterating that it is a terrorist organization and its activities are not allowed anywhere in the state.

However, the IPOB Leader in the statement on Wednesday, asked Rivers LGAs Chairmen to ignore Governor Wike’s order.

Kanu stated that the order by Governor Wike to fish out members of IPOB is unlawful and anti-people.

According to him, it is in the best interest of the LGAs chairmen to ignore the order.

“Dear Chairmen of LGAs in Rivers:
@GovWike’s ‘order’ to you to ‘fish out’ IPOB members in your LGAs is demeaning, unlawful & anti-people. It’s in the best INTEREST of your people & your conscience to ignore the #LittleHitler. Stand with your people, always. Thank you!,” Kanu wrote.
