“Didn’t He Call Them A Shithole Country?” Americans React As Trump Posts Video Of Nigerian Supporters
US President Donald Trump’s decision to post a video of some Nigerian supporters marching for him is setting tongues wagging in America.
Trump posted the video of the October 25 prayer walk by supporters in Onitsha, Anambra State on Election Day.
He also tweeted a message of gratitude for the parade describing it as a “great honour”.
“A parade for me in Nigeria, a great honor!”, the president said in the message.
According to reports, the parade was staged by members of the Living Christ Mission, led by its founder and leader, Daddy Hezekiah.
The video shows the worshippers marching through a street waving U.S. flags and carrying banners with Trump’s portrait while singing.

Ironically, Trump was widely reported to have called Nigeria a “shit-hole country” during a private meeting at the White House in 2018.
The president strongly denied the reports but has gone ahead to impose migrant visa restrictions on Nigeria, citing national security concerns.
As the video circulated, many Americans took to social media to react.
One Kevin repeated the earlier “shit hole” claim, stating, “Didn’t he call them a shit hole country?”
Another commentator, Soul King wrote, “Like a flock of SHEEP!”
Choppa City Toad wrote, “but at least they can come together. Niggas in America lmao only when a cop kill a thug. otherwise we mostly shooting and robbing each other.”
