ABSU Demands ₦15,000 “Pandemic Prevention Fee” From Students

Abia State University (ABSU), is allegedly demanding N15,000 “pandemic prevention fee” from students as they resume for the completion of their 2019/2020 academic session.

In a memo signed by the institution’s registrar, Acho Elendu, which has now leaked online, all payments has to be paid through the school’s online payment system before the commencement of exam.

“All returning student are to pay a pandemic prevention fee of fifteen thousand (N15,000) Naira only.” it read.

They went further to say that they have to show evidence of payment before entry into the university campuses, and the general public are to take note.
