Don’t Borrow To Marry, If A Girl’s Bride Price Is Too Expensive, Leave Her — Fr Oluoma Advises Men [Video]
Rev Fr Oluoma Chinenye John, a Priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja has advised men to leave any woman whose bride price is too expensive that they have to borrow to pay.
Speaking in his parish in Abuja, the popular catholic priest advised against borrowing expecially when it is for frivolities.
Fr Oluoma mentioned rentage and wedding/marriage as things one shouldn’t borrow money to fund.
Speaking further, he said that any girl whose bride price is too expensive that a man has to borrow to pay is not a wife material but an expensive commodity.
According to him, if the cost of marriage is too expensive where the girl comes from that nothing else could be done aside borrowing to fund the marriage, the man should look elsewhere.
The priest even mentioned some places in Anambra and Imo states where they have reasonable bride prices.
