‘Something Wey I Go Finish Now Now’ — Davido Throws Shade Over Wizkid’s ₦1Bn Deal

Multiple award-winning musician and record label boss, David Adeleke aka Davido has insinuated that the $3m dollars (N1.1bn) deal snagged by Wizkid, is small money for him (Davido).
He made the statement when a Wizkid fan mocked the Omo Baba Olowo over his comment that artistes should stop accepting endorsement deals.
The fan wrote; “Davido said “fvck endorsement deals” because he doesn’t get proper offers from proper companies… Who would say no to a UBA deal worth $3million?
This is why it is very important for artists to grow organically..”
However, Davido who felt the N1bn was small for him, took to Twitter to state that it would all be spent immediately on jewelry if it were offered to him.
“3 m dollars? Lmao ….. something wey go finish now now Cc @icebox.” the Fall singer tweeted.
