Umar Dagona: Nigerian Man Wins $400,000 After Finishing 2nd At World Chemistry Competition

Another Nigerian has made the country proud in the international scene, as Umar Dagona won $400,000 after finishing second at world chemistry competition.

He did well to beat tough competition to finish second.

The young man who is an indigene of Gashua town Yobe state, represented the West African country at the World Chemistry competition.

Umar Usman Dagon, took part in the “Imaginechemistry” competition and made it to the top five that appeared in the final round.

He eventually made it to the second position, winning the sum of 400,000 dollars.

Dagona studied NCE chemistry education at Yobe state Umar Suleiman Collage of Education in Gashua town.
