Shekau Dares Nigerian Army In New Video, Says ‘Nobody Can Arrest Me Because I’m Doing God’s Work’
Elusive Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau, has dared the Nigerian Army to arrest him if they can.
He reportedly released a new video where he claimed that God was protecting him and his commanders.
Shekau was reportedly seen in a 30-minutes video daring the Nigerian Army over the launch of a fresh manhunt for top members of the terrorist group that have been on its watch list since 2016.
“Nobody can apprehend me, because I’m doing God’s work. He will protect me like those doing similar work and seeking His protection,” Shekau was quoted to have said by HumAngle.
It was reported on November 11 that the Nigerian Army had unveiled a banner bearing pictures of the “most wanted” members of the terrorist sect.
The banner was unveiled during the launch of the civilian joint task force (CJTF) ‘super camp’ in Chabbal, Konduga Local Government Area, by Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State.
