Bandits Murder Katsina Commissioner, Rabe Nasir In His Home
Suspected bandits, on Thursday, killed the Katsina State Commissioner of Science and Technology, Dr. Rabe Nasir.
It was gathered that the terrorists murdered the commissioner inside his home located in Fatima Shema Estate in Katsina metropolis.
Oriental Times learned that security operatives have secured the body of the slain commissioner and taken over his residence.
A family source who spoke to Premium Times in confidence said that security operatives have secured the body of the slain commissioner and taken over his residence.
“I am at the residence now but security officials have sealed it. I was called by one of my uncles to quickly come to the residence,” he said.
He added that Mr Nasir’s assassins locked up his corpse in the toilet of his bedroom.
“It was after some hours that the family discovered droplets of blood in his room and a search began after which he was found in the toilet. One of the family members checked the toilet through the window and saw him,” he added.
Until his death, Nasir represented Mani/Bindawa Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives between 2007 to 2011and served as the Special Adviser to Governor Aminu Masari on Science and Technology.
As of the time of filing this report, the Katsina state government has yet to release an official statement regarding Nasir’s death.
