Sylvester Oromoni: Focus On Your Dead Daughter’s Birthday – Kemi Olunloyo Replies Ada Ameh

Self-acclaimed Investigative Journalist Kemi Olunloyo has replied Ada Ameh after the actress threatened to beat her up over her statement on the death of 12-year-old Dowen college student, Sylvester Oromoni Jnr. who was allegedly bullied and tortured to death by his schoolmates.

Kemi had during a Twitter Space she hosted on Thursday, December 9 claimed that Sylvester was willing to join the cult group, adding that he consented to be beaten and he agreed to drink engine oil.

She also claimed that the boy willingly told the guys initiating him that he has seen his sister’s privates. She also compared boarding school to Big Brother Naija.

Reacting to Kemi’s statement which a lot of Nigerians agreed was insensitive, Ada Ameh took to her Instagram page to rain curses on Olunloyo.

In a video posted on her Instagram page, she said: “You are mad, what kind of animal are you? What kind of cheap drugs do you take? You must be a mad woman and I think you need medical attention. This your madness is getting too much, you need to be beaten. A woman that has been through labour room, how can you come out and say rubbish? Where do you get your mad and crazy information from”?

However, Kemi in a reply to Ada on Saturday said she has reported the actress to the Police, Department of State Service (DSS) and even the US Embassy over her threat to beat her up.

The controversial journalist asked the veteran filmmaker to focus on her dead daughter’s posthumous birthday which took place today.

“ADA AMEH: I have reported her to the Police, the DSS, @USinNigeria and @StateDept She threatened to beat me up unaware that threats against journalists is a serious offense. Ada is smart but not intelligent. I was even told Blessing Okoro advised her on decorum and filming such,” Kemi wrote.

“I heard Ada Ameh was a 14yo teen mom thrown out by her parents, that child died in 2020. Ada keep my children out of your mouth and focus on your dead daughter’s birthday today, a missed opportunity. Don’t look for my trouble, I don’t interfere in your job whatever it is. #Idiot,” she added.
