Police Arrests Lady Who Allegedly Seized And Starved Teenage Mom’s 5-Month-Old Son Over Unpaid Debt
The Police have arrested one Madam Tina Ogbonnaya who allegedly seized and starved her 19-year-old employee’s 5-month-old son over an unpaid debt.
The 19-year-old mother had claimed that her madam seized her baby because she couldn’t pay back the hospital bill she helped her clear.
The teenage mom had reported her madam to human rights activist, Harrison Gwamnishu who then took up the case and brought it to public knowledge.
However, the baby, Chidubem, died shortly after the Lagos State Social Welfare and the police intervened and Reunited him with his woman.
Giving update about the case Saturday, Gwamnishu revealed the face of the woman. He also revealed that she is presently in detention at Divisional Police Station Ajah, Lagos State.
The activist thanked the police for intervening but equally urged them to transfer the case to the Homicide department, SCID.
