Jubilation In Imo As Lema Theological Seminary Celebrates Children In Style

Lema General Library; in conjunction with the Lema Theological Seminary, (LEMATS) Orodo, in Mbaitoli Local Government Area and Lema Institute, USA, have organized a youth and children- fun and prize giving ceremony.

The programme organized mainly for elementary schools pupils and Junior Secondary Schools, JSS students, which held at the Seminary’s camp ground, had in attendance over five (5) hundred children who came from different communities of the Council Area.

The President, Lema Theological Seminary, Reverend Joshua Amaezechi, while dancing with the children, reminded kids that they are future leaders.

He added that many of them are going to become lawyers, Medical Doctors, Engineers, Pastors, Nurses, Academic Professors and other professionals in future.

“I want you to take your studies seriously and make sure you read your books in order to make excellent results in your examinations. You are leaders of tommorow and for that reason, you all have no cause to fail”, he urged.

A Twelve (12) year old child at the event whose face was beaming with smiles was spotted and interviewed by the press. She gave her name as little Miss Favour Nwachukwu.

Little Nwachukwu thanked the theological Seminary for organizing such an informing, educative and enlightening programme which according to her, she gained something meaningful therein.

Highlights of the occasion include, dancing, eating and splitting of the children in groups where they were entertained by the Amy Van Putten and Missionaries from the United States, USA.
