BREAKING: Imo Traditional Ruler, Eze John Odimegwu Gets Staff Of Office After Years Of Tussle

People of Eziawa Ancient Kingdom, in Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State, were over the weekend, rolled out the drums as one of their own, His Royal Highness, Eze John Onyekaozuru Odimegwu gets Staff of office and certificate of return.

In his reaction shortly after the ceremony, the new Monarch, thanked God for the enablement to have been given a staff of office as a long battle.

He expressed appreciation to the Imo Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, for remembering his Community towards ensuring that they get a Monarch.

Meanwhile, Sen. Uzodimma has charged Traditional Rulers in Imo State to take ownership public properties in their respective communities and protect them.

He gave this charge while presenting Staff of Office and Certificates of Recognition to some Traditional Rulers at Government House, Owerri.

Sen. Uzodimma also charged the New Ndi Eze against passive interest in the execution of public projects in their respective communities.

The Governor announced that he will in few days set up community development centers that will further drive development to the grassroots.
