OPM To Shut Down Free School In Jos Over Northern Children’s Reluctance To Attend

Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, the General-Overseer of the Port Harcourt-based church, Omega Power Ministries, has lamented northern children’s unwillingness to acquire education.

The cleric took to his Facebook page on Monday, 7 February, to complain about the children’s refusal to attend classes in his school in Jos, despite it being free.

The philanthropist said it was frustrating paying teachers with very few students in attendance.

Apostle Chibuzor stated that, if there is no improvement in the attendance of students, he would be forced to shut down the school.

His words: “May be forced to close down OPM Free school in JOS. I don’t understand why children in North have just refused to school upon OPM is giving it free.

Very frustrating to be paying teachers with very few students. Am not happy at all. May close it if No improvement of student attendance”.
