Deeper Life Pastor Hacked To Death In Kogi, Body Dumped Inside Pit

Momoh Victor Alimi, a pastor with Deeper Life Bible Church in Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State, has been assassinated by unidentified assailants.

According to reports, the pastor was hacked to death and his body was dumped in a pit by his attackers.

On Match 10, the deceased was claimed to be on his way home from a church service in the Okaito region of Kogi along the Kabba-Okene route when his assailants opened fire.

SP Williams Aya, a spokesman for the State Police Command, who confirmed the event, said three individuals had been apprehended in connection with the murder.

The PPRO stated that the deceased’s body was discovered in a trench along the route leading to his church, just a few days after he was reported missing by police.

He went on to say that the command went after the suspects, and that intelligence led to the arrest of three of them, according to the statement.

According to him, the three suspects are already undergoing interrogation at the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).

He added that the identity of the suspects would not be released at this time since the police were still attempting to track down more suspects.
