2023: Imo APGA Legal Adviser, Olumba Dumps Party, Joins Labour Party

Legal Adviser of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Barr. Ifeanyi Olumba, has dumbed party for Labour Party (LP).

Addressing newsmen in Owerri, Monday, Olumba, said, he considers the resignation as a sacrifice he has to make and a contribution geared towards the task of nation-building.

Olumba, who disclosed that his dumbing of the party was not borne out of any ill feeling for APGA, therefore thanked National Leadership of the party; as well as EXCO and members of the APGA in Imo.

The release reads, “Therefore, like many other progressive minded Nigerians, who want to see the nation rise again, I hereby throw my weight behind the Peter Obi/Yusuf Datti-Ahmed 2023 Presidency Project”.

He further mentained, that his believe remains unshaken that in the duo of Ex Governor Peter Obi and Senator Yusuf Datti-Ahmed, he sees them as gentlemen, highly educated and cultured personalities.

Barr. Olumba described the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Mr. Peter and his running mate, Sen. Datti- Ahmed Obi as friends and kinsmen of truth and justice.

His words, “I once more announce my resignation as the Legal Adviser and membership of APGA, Imo State Chapter and equally reiterate my unalloyed support for the Peter Obi/Ahmed-Datti 2023 Presidency Project under the umbrella of Labour Party.”
