Peter Obi Sent By God To Save Nigerians From Suffering – Amechi Confesses
Mbazulike Amechi, an elder statesman and the first Republic’s minister of aviation, has avowed that Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate, is a messenger sent by God to deliver Nigerians from misery.
Amechi made this statement on Thursday during a press conference at his Ukpor residence in Anambra State’s Nnewi South Local Government Area.
He claimed that Nigerians now have the opportunity to save and preserve the country from complete collapse as a result of the rise of Obi and his running companion, Datti Baba-Ahmed.
The senior statesman continued by saying that the country had been subjected to political and economic rape for many years and had descended into a catacomb of corruption, theft, and intolerance on the basis of religion and ethnicity.
He further charged that in choosing their presidential candidates and vice presidential running mates, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the All Progressive Congress, APC, had shown insensitivity to the suffering and needs of Nigerians.
Amechi charged PDP with choosing its flagbearers “clever by half,” while APC offered an outdated medication to revive a patient on the verge of coma.
“APC paid deaf ears to the cry of the nation. They suicidally fielded mono-religious flagbearers to rule a multi-religious nation.
“On the coming presidential election, I am no longer a politician but I cannot keep dumb when I see the country, which I gave my whole youth and blood to co-found being pushed to an irretrievable pit of disintegration and anarchy.
“Since the operation of the military imposed Constitution in 1999, two major political parties have ruled the country. They are PDP and APC.
“In their preparation for the 2023 presidential election, both parties have goofed in their selection of their presidential candidates and their running mates.
“Since their ruling the country in 1999, the nation has sunk into the stinking catacomb of corruption, looting and religious-cum-tribal bigotry.”
