2023 Honda CR-V Redesign Info

A fully redesigned 2023 Honda CR-V Hybrid has been introduced. The compact SUV that runs on electricity will be sold alongside the gas-powered CR-V, which is covered separately.

While the 2023 Honda CR-V goes on sale this summer, the CR-V Hybrid won’t be available at the time of launch.

The 2023 CR-V Hybrid has the same exterior design as the gas-only model. The redesigned electric SUV now has a new front end that features a square grille, angular headlights, and a large central front air intake. The rear end of the Honda CR-V has sharp taillights that begin at the base of the rear spoiler and follow the curvature of the rear windscreen.  In addition, there are roof rails, dual exhaust outlets, and rugged body cladding displayed on the vehicle.

On the inside, the new Honda CR-V Hybrid has an interior design that is similar to that of the new Honda Civic. The dashboard has a trim piece that runs nearly the whole width of the dashboard and conceals the air vents. The center console has big buttons and dials, while the infotainment screen rests atop the dashboard. The interior space of the CR-V Hybrid has been increased in comparison to the previous model last year as a result of a longer wheelbase and a larger body.

Standard features for the CR-V Hybrid Sport basic model will include a 7-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch driver information screen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The available features will consist of a wireless charging pad, navigation, a wireless charging pad, a 9-inch touchscreen, and wireless smartphone compatibility. Bose audio system will also be included.

The new Honda CR-V Hybrid is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine along with two electric motors for a total output of 204 horsepower. Drivetrain options include front-wheel drive as standard and all-wheel drive as an option. Although Honda has not released an estimate, the introduction of a front-wheel-drive version of the CR-V Hybrid should result in improved fuel economy in comparison to the previous model. The combined fuel economy for the 2022 CR-V Hybrid AWD is up to 38 mpg.

The 2023 CR-V Hybrid is equipped with Honda Sensing as standard. Pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and blind-spot monitoring ought to be among the standard safety features of the new Honda CR-V Hybrid.

There will be a driver attention monitor, in addition to adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, traffic jam assist, and other similar features.
