UNN Recruitment 2022 is currently ongoing. The University of Nigeria, popularly known as UNN, is a federal university in Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria.

The University of Nigeria, established by Nnamdi Azikiwe in 1955 and formally inaugurated on October 7, 1960, comprises three campuses in Enugu State—Nsukka, Enugu, and Ituku-Ozalla—as well as the Aba campus in Abia State.

The University of Nigeria, which is modeled after the American educational system, is the country’s first fully autonomous and indigenous university.

It is the first land-grant university in Africa and one of the five most reputed universities in Nigeria. The institution contains 102 academic departments and 15 faculties.

The university provides 211 postgraduate programs in addition to 108 undergraduate programs.

Duties:

The Bursar is the Chief Financial Officer of the University and is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day financial administration and control of University finances.

• Candidates for this post must possess a good honours Degree or equivalent in Accounting from a recognized University as well as professionally recognized accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, ACMA, DPA, ANAN etc plus a minimum of 15 years post-qualification experience preferably in a University or similar institution, where he/she must have served at the level of Deputy Bursar.

• Candidates should also be Information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliant and have a working knowledge of a good accounting package.

• Candidates should not be above 60 years at the time of assumption of office and should be within the retirement age at the expiration of his/her tenure.

2. Registrar | UNN Recruitment 2022

Duties:

• The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day general administration of the University.

• The Registrar is also the Secretary to Council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation.

Qualifications and Experience | UNN Recruitment 2022

• Candidates for this post must possess a good honours Degree from a recognized University and must have had not less than 15 years of extensive and varied post-qualification administrative experience at a top management position, preferably in a University or similar institution, where he/she must have served at the level of Deputy Registrar.

• Candidate should not be above 60 years at the time of assumption of Office and should be within the retirement age at the expiration of his/her tenure.

• Candidates should also be Information and Communication Technology (ICT) compliant and must command respect and be able to carry colleagues along.
