7 Killed In Kaduna As Bandits Attack Galadimawa Market

Seven people have been reported killed in an attack by unknown gunmen In Kaduna.

It was learnt that the attack was in Galadimawa Market, Giwa Local Government of Kaduna State.

The report which was reported by BBC Hausa disclosed that seven people were killed.

According to the report, “A lorry loaded with 330 bags of maize was set ablaze by the Bandits. Several cars were also touched.

“Joint Task Force were able to repel the attack by chasing away the Bandits and killing some, according to Kaduna State Commissioner on Security and Internal Affairs, Samuel Aruwan.

The report read, “Bandits have attacked Galadimawa market in Giwa LGA of Kaduna state today, 7 killed, several cars burnt including a lorry loaded with 330 bags of maize.

“The bandits were later chased by JTF, some killed according to KD Commissioner, Aruwan.”

The Kaduna State attack is coming on the eve of Christmas as people go out to the markets for their businesses.

It should be recalled that the DSS (Department of State Security Services) have offered security alerts on violent attacks during Yuletide.

The Security Department stated that: “The objective is to create a general sense of fear among the people and subsequently undermine the government. The report stated.
