Kenyan Actor Killed On His Way Home From Movie Set

The Kenyan film industry is in mourning after the death of young and upcoming actor Kenneth Magawe.

The actor is reported to have passed away on the night of Saturday, January 30, after he was killed by a group of thugs as he headed back home.

According to a source, Magawe was on his way home from an upcoming film set when he was approached by thugs and asked to hand over all his possessions.

The source added that Magawe, a resident of Kasarani area, appeared to have recognised one of the thieves and called him out.

“So after handing them all that he had and complied with them, he seemed to notice one of the thieves and called out his name. So they decided to murder him instead,” the source said.

Magawe’s social media profile shows that he was not only aspiring to be the best in film but also in music as he described himself as a singer and song writer.
