Ned Nwoko Raises Alarm Over Alleged Plot To Assassinate Him

Former House of Representatives Prince Ned Nwoko has alleged that some people are plotting to assassinate him.

In a press briefing he organised alongside his actress wife Regina Daniels on Thursday, Feb 11, in Abuja, Ned Nwoko revealed how the assassination plot was revealed.

Ned said the plot to kill him was connected to a tussle on who will become the next king of his community in Delta state and also about a piece of land in his community, where he was setting up a university.

He explained that the land used for the setting up of the university in Delta state, followed legal process and that the elders in his community had also settled the issue of the next king of his community.

Revealing how he found out the plot, he said an inmate in Kuje prison was the one who overheard two prisoners discussing about the assassination which alerted his wife, Regina after the information was shared on social media by the inmate and that the issue has been reported to the police.

The politician said that the inmate who exposed the plot was later released but died mysteriously after three weeks.

“I then reported the matter to the police and Department of State Security (DSS) and they went and interviewed the inmates involved. The inmates mentioned the name of one businessman who deals in the oil and gas sector as the master minder.”

He added that the family of the late inmate who shared the information would have been at this conference but couldn’t because they were scared.
