Opinion
The New Abia We Want
By Dominic Barcity
I have read several articles, opinions, suggestions and views about our great state, Abia. Regardless of the diversity of these views, everyone is or appears to be in perfect harmony with one fact: Abia is underdeveloped and in desperate need of change. Not just any change, but a positive change that will enhance the life of everyone. Change that will usher in equal opportunity for every Abians. Many also agreed that Nigeria has more than it would take to improve the life of her indigenes. Everyone agreed that the bane on our nation is corruption, from corrupt citizens to corrupt government officials. Everyone unequivocally agreed that Abia Government is corrupt and needs a positive change.
However, in all these, the answer to one fundamental question appears misdirected: Who will do the changing? Dr Uchechukwu Ogah, a tested & trusted entrepreneur seems to be the only answer to the question. Using the zero to hero factor of Dr Uche Ogah as an example, a man who built a whole empire off nothing, i strongly believe that same will happen to Abia under his leadership as a governor of the state, Fact still remains that Abians have to focus on individualism not party politics in this coming election. The Primary need of Abians are affordable healthcare, better education, improvised security, industrialization of the state, infrastructure development, job creation and enabling environment for investors to see the state as the next hub of investment in Nigeria.
Dr Uche Ogah remains the best candidate to rescue and save Abians, Every single Abian has a role to play in actualizing the positive change and for the sake of our generation, and that of our children, you should change your perception and take responsibility of the New Abia Dream by supporting Dr Uche Ogah, a visionary leader with capacity to change our great state. There is a wind on the horizon; it is called a wind of change. This wind is exploding from the will of the people. Get ready to jump in with everything you have, because no one can stop this wind; it is the emergence of the “New Abia”

Even though Ikpeazu is not good though, what we do not want is APC murderers in Abia State. Abia State will not welcome APC in our land, if Uche want to be seen as a human being not vampire he should quickly find another party
