The accused persons, 30 males and two females, were arraigned by the police before the court on Thursday on a charge of treasonable felony.

They were accused of committing the offence, contrary to section 41(A) (B) of the criminal code CAP C38 laws of federation of Nigeria 2004 as applicable to Enugu state.

Following their arraignment, His Worship S. Okoro Esq, the presiding magistrate ordered that they should be remanded in prison custody while the police should transfer their case files to the Director of Public Prosecutions in Enugu State, for further advice.
