Islamic Teacher Defiles 5-Year-Old Female Student In Gombe

A 26-year-old Islamic teacher identified as Bilyaminu Halilu, has been arrested by the Gombe State Police Command for defiling his 5-year-old female student.

The State’s Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Mukaddas, who paraded the suspect who was arrested on November 1 before newsmen, disclosed that Halilu was a teacher at Raudatul Quranic Primary and Secondary School by-pass Gombe.

The Islamic teacher who took his 5-year-old female student to his office, laid her on the table and had unlawful carnal knowledge of her, was arrested after the girl’s mother who noticed blood in her private part while bathing her in the evening, was told that teacher was responsible when she questioned her daughter.

NAN reported that the police boss disclosed that the arrested Islamic teacher has confessed to the crime, and would soon be arraigned in court for prosecution.
