BREAKING: “You Are A Liar” — Lawmakers Boo Buhari As He Presents 2019 Budget
The shout of is not true, it’s a lie rent the air in the lower chamber of the National Assembly as President Muhammadu Buhari presented the 2019 budget.
Angry lawmakers at a joint sitting, who were not happy with the figures the President was dishing out, interrupted the flowing of his presentation by making unpalatable comments.
While some of the lawmakers applauded the President, others, who were not happy with the presentation, especially when figures and projects allegedly executed did not tally with expectations, shouting “it’s a lie, it’s not true” and other negative comments.
For example, when the President said that the economy has recovered from recession, fighting corruption and how the infrastructure have been improved upon, some of the lawmakers shouted “you lied.”
