BREAKING: Gunmen Kidnap Four Turkish Expatriates At Drinking Joint In Kwara
Six man armed gang had reportedly abducted four Turkish expatriates at a local drinking joint in Gbale village, Edu local government area of Kwara State.
Tribune Online reports that the incidence occurred at about 10:00 p.m. Saturday night while the men were having fun at the local joint in Gbale village.
The abducted men were identified as Yasin Colak (33), Senerapal (40), Ergun Yurdakul (35) and Seyit Keklik (25).
The victims were said to be expatriates working with Istanbul Concrete Limited, Gbale.
The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ajayi Okasanmi, who confirmed the abduction, said that the state police commissioner, Kayode Egbetokun, had dispatched teams under operation Puff Adder to the area with a mandate to commence investigation and rescue of the expatriates alive.
The police boss also directed subsequent arrest of the suspected hoodlums.
He said that efforts of the police had started to yield positive results, but did not confirm if any arrest had been made so far.
