‘There is Nothing Like Biblical Name, Bear Your African Name’ – Reno Omokri

Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has turned his attention to the Christian perimeters once again in a new post.

The revered lawyer who also influences opinions on social media posited that there is nothing like Biblical name contrary to popular belief amongst Christians in Nigeria and Africa as a whole.

Reno implied that there’s no where in the Bible that mandates anyone to take up so-called Biblical or Christian names and therefore challenged Africans to bear their traditional names

There is nothing like BIBLICAL name. Those are JEWISH traditional names. I have read Scripture multiple times, in multiple versions and in multiple languages. Nowhere does it say you have to have a JEWISH or Christian name. Bear your AFRICAN name!
