FG Not Behind Monkeypox Outbreak – Lai Mohammed
The Federal Government has denied the report that the outbreak of Monkeypox in some parts of the country resulted from the alleged free medical care by the government in the affected areas.
The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, in a statement on Sunday, said Nigerians should disregard the report which, apparently, is being spread by some unscrupulous persons to fit into a sinister agenda.
Lai Mohammed said, ”The Federal Government has not conducted any free medical service or care in either Bayelsa or Rivers state, as alleged in the fake report being circulated. So that could not have been the cause of the outbreak of Monkey Pox in both states.
“Monkey Pox is a virus found only in monkeys and it is rare in human beings. It belongs to the same family as Chicken Pox and Smallpox.
”It is suspected that someone may have contacted it by eating monkey meat, thus triggering the current outbreak.”
Monkeypox epidemic was first recorded in Bayelsa with three other suspected cases in Rivers State and one other confirmed case in Akwa Ibom.

The news making the rounds is that the FG through the NA embarked on a week long free medical program and the outbreak occurred only in areas where the free medical care happened. When you put goats in a yam barn and the yams were found to be eaten, you don’t need to go further to look for the yam eater…… I might have doubted this allegation until the ultimate liar himself, the master of deception spoke and we know that when lai Mohammed tells you something, you know the opposite is the truth. They probably attacked Bayelsa because of their hatred for Jonathan. Anyway to be on the safe side, they will never see me near their free medical care. The Nigerian military financed & supported by the Nigerian federal government forcefully injected so many people in Ebonyi state too with certain substances yet to be determined. Nigeria has been using operation whatever dance to be forcefully injecting Biafran peoples with pathogens, viruses, bacteria in addition to the continuous genocidal shooting of Biafrans.
