African-American Man Kidnaps Racist White Woman, Forces Her To Watch 9-Hour Film About Slavery
An African American man allegedly kidnapped a racist white woman and forced her to watch 1977 slavery mini-series Roots to “understand her racism”.
The 52-year-old man, Robert Noye, allegedly kidnapped the racist white woman who called the Cedar Rapids Police Department in Iowa to arrest him on Monday on charges of first-degree harassment and false imprisonment.
According to the complaint, Noye allegedly forced the woman to sit with him at a local residence to watch the mini-series on slavery which runs for 9-hours. When the woman attempted to leave, Noye told her to “remain seated and watch the movie with him or he would kill her and spread her body parts across Interstate 380 on the way to Chicago“, according to the Gazette.
The slavery mini-series Roots is about author Alex Haley’s family line which he first penned in a novel in 1976 before it was filmed in 1977.
Robert Noye is currently in police custody on his two charges.
