“I Do Am For Allah” — Cobbler Rejects N5k Cash Gift After Showing Man His Lost Wallet Containing N200k
A Nigerian lady has taken to Twitter to narrate how a cobbler called a man’s attention to his wallet which dropped when he alighted from a cab.
The lady identified as @olayemi_123 disclosed that the said wallet contained the sum of N200,000.
According to Olayemi, the owner of the wallet in appreciation offered the cobbler a cash gift of N5,000, but to the surprise of everyone present at the scene, he rejected it, saying that it was a deed he did for Allah — the name God is called in Islam.
