A Yoruba Woman Refused To Rent House To Me And A Hausa Man Denied Me Job Because I’m Igbo — Lady Reveals

A lady from the South-Eastern part of Nigeria has narrated how ethnicity was a major reason for some unfair treatment which was meted out to her.

The lady simply known as @Queen_Minic on social media, said that she wanted to rent a house in Abuja but the landlady who happens to be a Yoruba women, refused to rent it to her because she’s Igbo.

Also, she revealed how a Hausa man denied her access to a job for the mere fact of the tribe she’s from.

In her words;

“In Abuja, a Yoruba woman refused renting her house to me simply because i am Igbo .

“An Hausa man once denied me a job because i am Igbo .

Truth is, tribalism has come to stay and there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.”
