JUST IN: Angry Mob Destroys, Sets Tinubu’s Oriental Hotel On Fire [VIDEOS]
The Lagos Oriental Hotel has been seriously destroyed by an angry mob following the shooting of unarmed protesters at Lekki Toll gate on Tuesday night.
The hotel was set on fire on Tuesday night, October 21, 2020, after Nigerian Soldiers opened fire on peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate, killing about nine people and injuring so many others.
The entrance doors to the hotel have been severely damaged alongside other amenities in the building. The attacks seem to be a reprisal against Former Lagos governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is widely rumoured to own the hotel.
He has been accused by some quarters of being behind the deployment of security agents that rained live ammunitions on the #EndSARS protesters. Over 9 protesters have been confirmed dead, however other reports say over 50 people were killed.
