Heavy Gun Salutes, Merriment As Nnamdi Kanu Arrives Hometown, Meets His Royal Parents [PHOTOS]

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu has arrived his hometown in Isiama Afaraukwu, Ibeku Umuahia in Abia state.

Kanu arrived Umuahia on Friday, May 5th, one week after his release from Kuje Prison in Abuja.

Kanu’s father, His Royal Highness Eze Israel Kanu expressed happiness over his son’s safe return.

It was gathered that Kanu’s hometown is full of merry and gunshots salutes by residents of the community who welcomed the IPOB leader.
