Reno Omokri Replies Aisha Yesufu For Calling Out Bishop Oyedepo

Reno Omokri, former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has replied Nigeria’s activist, Aisha Yesufu, for accusing Bishop Oyedepo of threatening Nigerians with hell fire should they vote out his principal during the 2015 presidential election.

The co-convener of ‘Bring Back Our Girls Movements’, on Saturday December 11, 2021, accused the General Overseer of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo of being a hypocrite after the clergy man disclosed at the ongoing Shiloh, that he knew that Buhari government won’t do any good to Nigeria.

Yesufu in a tweet stated that the Bishop Oyedepo is as pathetic as the MURIC group.

She tweeted: “Where was your voice when #ChibokGirls were abducted? They weren’t Christian enough because a Christian was President?

“Where was your voice when citizens were being killed? You even said we will go to hellfire if we do not vote GEJ. You and that MURIC man are the same! Pathetic!”

However, Aisha Yesufu’s post did not go well with Reno Omokri.

In a reply via his verified Instagram page, Reno clarified that the story that Bishop Oyedepo threatened Nigerians with hell fire should they vote against President Goodluck was false and have been debunked by a newspaper.

He went further to state that Bishop Oyedepo did a lot for not just the Chibok girls alone, but also for Christians and Muslims.

He concluded by advising Aisha Yesufu to always carry out private investigation before undermining people’s faith through her posts.
