World’s Ugliest Dog: 17-Year-Old Mr. Happy Face Crowned Winner

The annual World’s Ugliest Dog competition has a winner, and his owner is incredibly happy.
Jeneda Benally was awarded the prize money of $1,500 after the winner of this year’s competition, which took place in Petaluma, California, was announced to be her dog, Mr. Happy Face.

There were other deserving runners-up, even though the 17-year-old Chinese Crested dog won.
Wild Thing, a fluffy puppy owned by Ann Lewis, came in second place, while Monkey, the dog owned by Scotch Haley, came third.

The World’s Ugliest Dog competition, which encourages people to adopt animals rather than purchase them from breeders, was held yesterday in the city of Petaluma in Sonoma County after being postponed for two years as a result of the pandemic.
After being rescued from the house of a hoarder, Mr. Happy Face was adopted by his current owner, Jeneda.
Comedians Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart served as judges for this year’s competition.
